Effective October 24, 2026, Xplor Pay will implement changes made to operating regulations by Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express®, Discover®, and supported Debit Networks. Depending on pricing plan and transaction mix, these changes may affect pass-through third-party cost components including interchange, dues, assessments, network and similar fees. Visa
Support for Visa Installment Credential Credit Products in the U.S: Visa is expanding its existing consumer Visa Installment Credential Credit and Visa Installment Credential Standard Credit products to issuers in the U.S. These products are identified by the combination of the existing Credit account funding source and the existing product ID value of F2 (Visa Installment Credential). Existing interregional fee programs will continue to apply to these product transactions. Changes to U.S. domestic fee structures will be implemented to support these products.
New Acquirer Charge for Visa Commercial Solutions (Embedded Payments)
Effective 23 October 2026, Visa will introduce a new Acquirer Embedded Payment charge applicable to acquirers processing qualifying Embedded Payment transactions. Visa is introducing a new 0.10% (10 basis points) Embedded Payments Acquirer Charge applied to eligible Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) virtual card transactions used in embedded payments flows. An Embedded Payment transaction is identified based on the use of virtual accounts provisioned through Visa’s Embedded Payments integrations from business applications—such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), accounting, procurement or other software—used for business-to-business payments.
- This is a Visa-mandated association charge — not an Xplor fee.
- It only applies to qualifying B2B commercial virtual card transactions processed through Visa’s embedded payments integrations.
- Standard consumer card transactions are not affected.
- The charge goes live October 23, 2026 for U.S. merchants.
